- Oxygen and carbon dioxide
- Nutrients
- Correct growing temperature.
- Media for the roots to grow into that usually supports the plant.
- An environment that lacks pests and diseases that attack the plant, or choosing plants resistant to these problems.
- Correct rootzone pH – often overlooked, this determines what nutrients are available for your plants to take up for growth.
When you decide to grow something, do a quick search online about what growing conditions favor that plant. You will have much more success growing things. Remember to give your plants good consistent care. Also, be patient. Plants take time to grow. Follow these simple rules and you will have green thumbs in no time.
